I didn't expect this mixture of orchestral hip hop at the very end. You actually mixed very different music genres in a very homogenous way, good job. I just wish there were more hip hop tracks, Reflection was definetly my favourite, followed by Blue Shift.

I like how it kicks off the story after Home with the electronic synths, is a very nice continuation of the previous track and a good example that a soundtrack is not a bunch of individual songs, they actually complement and link ideas to each other, I appreciate tht a LOT.

Incredible!

Hooray, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. We definitely snuck in a lot of rhythmic and melodic motifs to try and see unify the tracks together.

I think if we’d had the full week to work on this, we could have made a bunch more tracks that truly blend the two styles! Blue Shift was originally intended to be a remix, chopping up the “memories” of the other tracks to build up its own instrumentals, twisting them as needed to fit Cobalt’s agenda of revenge and self-reliance… But time constraints turned it into more of an EDM thing. ;)
