Took me a while to notice that there is that small, harmful, red box at the beginning XD And something killed me many times after second tutorial sign, and really couldn't figure it out for like 5 minutes, so couldn't make it so far :(
haha, I am sorry to hear that. The boxes do not harm you only spikes and bumping into blocks.
