Superb spritework and real nice to have music variation between the combat/non combat moments, i like the overall idea and having the controls be more physics based/asteroids like seems fitting for space.

But damn ! That difficulty curve is insane :o 

I could never reach station 2 either by trying to fight or by making a run for it :(

I think this needs some rebalancing as is, now with that said still the game has qualities like mentioned with the graphics and music and some of the little touches like enemies that can blow themselves up trying to follow you through asteroids etc... plus gotta praise the full on options menu. 

Solid core concept, just too bad about the difficulty, other than that still the effort and care shows :)

In a nutshell; I was incharge of the balancing and well.. Ever game I play is always set to the highest or second highest difficulty lol. I play FPS games with handguns and anti-meta arms.. I- am a terrible judge of difficulty I've realized. Sorry about that. I don't imagine most people will reach the other ships in game. But they get pretty damn powerful.

Haha well i'm no reference for skill,  so that has to be taken into account as well :p 

but yeah the enemies on the way to station 2 felt a bit tough compared to the starter ship and i don't know if you could farm to upgrade if you collected drops from ships and work towards better hardware (i suppose the numbers on the Postal ships are prices for stuff you can buy ?)

Hope i didn't come as too harsh on the game cause that wasn't the intent, like i said the game has qualities despite the difficulty :)

Welp i guess i went a bit too bold on my "run for it" approach cause i didn't try that big of a detour XD

This route is probably smarter for sure

Also like i told @D4ys i hope i didn't come as too harsh on the game cause that wasn't the intent ^^

No man, I think all critique and opinions are valuable 😁 The marks shown on the ship are how many kills of that faction you still need. We definitely made the starter ship pretty weak but I think after you unlock the red and the black ship you'll have a lot more fun with fights, if you'd like to try again :D

I'll try and give it another shot to see the other ships in between playing and trying other games of the jam ^_^
