Glad you liked it! The timing of enemy attacks will become much easier to judge once i implement real animations.
- Bosses' sizes are actually relevant to melee combat, as is the arena's size for ranged, but that's what high-range weapons like spears, harberds and quarterstaves are for!
- Cannibalism's bites are chance-based, so all you have to do is stand somewhat close to the gib.
- Slime-friend follows you around (as best he can), and attacks enemies with an acid touch. He's quite powerful if you can lead him around.
