The movement is painfully slow and the characters all sound like emotionless robots. The text really needs some proofreading and grammar correction because it sounds completely unnatural.

The teleportation type travel feels really weird.

Chairs are really weird with the actors looking like they are standing behind/on the chairs. A lot of objects are fused to the walls and it looks weird.

The office sort of glitches where it says interact, but nothing happens.

Looking at the desk from below causes you to teleport to the chair while still facing up. Looks really odd.

The game says house, but it is an apartment. This is kind of confusing due to the lack of nameplates/numberplates to read so you are guessing which is the right door.

You don't see any of what the character sees in certain interactions, so it is completely confusing. What was in her diary, for example.

The teleporting between worlds just feels weird when there really isn't any sort of explanation. One moment you are talking to someone then next moment, you are somewhere else perfectly prepared. It just feels more like cut corners than anything. The plot just seems to jump all over the place and you are just left in the dark. This felt more like content was cut out or just never worked on like as if multiple stories were just thrown together.

Yeah, I had a similar experience when I played this. I agree with a lot of your criticism. I've certainly enjoyed the game for what it was, but it really needs a rewrite. The story definitely feels like it was supposed to be much larger, but then it was stitched together last minute to meet the deadline. Still, there are flaws in this story that don't have anything to do with that, for example:

SPOILERS:

It's revealed that five years ago, the protagonist's mom was murdered, but the protagonist didn't know about it, because his dad told him they divorced and are separated now. The 28 years old protagonist doesn't know that, despite still living with his parents. I find that much more unbelievable than the actual supernatural stuff in this game.

Yeah, that reveal just jumps out of nowhere though. Like, no build up, no scene showing how he found out. Just suddenly found out.

I feel like the slow walk speed was more to pad time than anything.

Yeah, one minute you are looking for a murderer of his girlfriend, then you find a diary and all you get out of it is "hmm, neeta is alive, the ritual didn't start yet" without learning anything about that ritual. That's just one example. Then there's the fact that the Sheriff says "I won't let you get away" and immediately after he says it, the Sheriff disappears and the cell door is open. Still not sure how he was evens supposed to get out.

The slow walk speed was probably for atmosphere, but you can still have that while the players are allowed to dash. I don't like it when you can't run at all.

Still, looking forward to what the finished product will be like.

Hello Al Sin!

First of all, a million thanks for completing my game. I really appreciate the time you spend to play it.

All the issues that you have mentioned will be taken as constructive feedbacks and criticisms. I'm really sorry if my game did not meet your expectations.

I would admit that this game was rushed to meet the deadline and most of the time was focused on the more technical side of the game such as the dynamic scene control system, subtitles, voiceovers, lighting, etc.

However, I will surely improve myself as well as my current and future games to meet the player's needs and expectations.

Best regards,

Ikmal Said.
