Hi, I'm having an issue since the newest update where: I have been setting up my sims attractiveness settings so they will find each other attractive, which worked, however, whenever I exit and join the game again back it always resets both back to be very unattractive. If I could get some help I would highly appreciate it!
Hey! This isn't enough information for me to know, but it sounds like there are three cases here.
If you loaded the game and Sim view of other Sims changed, has their preferences changed as well?
- If they didn't change, but the view of other Sims did, then something about these other Sims changed. When their outfit or body changes, the view changes as well. This will especially happen when you edit them or remove CC clothing. Additionally, if you have the "Attractiveness Dynamic World View" enabled, Sims views will change with how the world changes and you might have very little control over it as that's how fashion and cultural/social preferences change.
- If they changed to something seemingly random, did you ever set their preferences in CAS? These preferences will override any other preferences you set or develop later in the game. If you didn't, I'm not aware of a situation where this can happen as Sims with already set/developed/randomized preferences are blocked from having new preferences therefore making it impossible to happen.
- If they changed to nothing, meaning they have no preferences selected at all, that sounds like you lost your WW save data. I'm not aware of anything that can cause this to happen. WW save data is embedded in the game save itself, using a fake empty household that holds global information about all Sims and the world. If for some reason that data goes missing or cannot be loaded, then that would result in preference missing as well. The issue is, I don't know of anything that would cause this data to disappear or fail to load. Thus far nobody is able to explain to me how and when it happens so I'm unable to help.
So to try to answer your questions, but I only know from what I have tested so far:
When reloading into the game, my sims preferences towards other sims were completely wiped, it showed no preferences in the menu, but they would still find some sims attractive/extremely unattractive etc. I set their preferences up and it seems that it fixes everything, they begin to find people I had selected attractive/very attractive etc.
Then save and quit, reload the game, all the preferences are lost again.
I thought maybe this could be a conflict with another mod so I tried without any other mods, same occurrence.
I tried in another save to see if my save was broken. The same thing happened, sims don't have any auto generated preferences, so I developed their preferences, they found their SO extremely attractive, save and exit. They have lost their attractiveness settings again.
None of these sims have their preferences set up in CAS as I know they overwrite the menu ones, so I made sure to check that.
But from what I know, I had my subscribers on YouTube check and they're also having the same issue of sims having no preferences set up and changing them doesn't save.
For me, this only started occurring as of the newest patch as everything was fine before that for myself.

I have the exact same problem, I tried setting preferences and playing the game on different computer, with and without other mods, and the preferences are ALWAYS wiped when I restart the game like for MissLollypop! It happens with all sims not only the played ones and not only on adults sims, on teens and young adults too :)
I tried just launching the game, setting the preferences, and then immediatly close it and re-launch to see if it would be wiped even if I don't play with the preferences I have set. It wiped it even if I didn't play !
