Everybody sucks when they start out, don't worry about it. Just take this as an opportunity to improve!

Your game is still much above 64x64 pixels. I suggest you go look at the top submissions from the previous years' LowRezJams to see  what I'm talking about. You don't have to FIND tiny assets, you can draw your own even in MSPaint. There's still plenty of time to fix the game.

Nah I’ll just make pixel versions of all the sprites

I’m too scared to do this game jam but I also want to make my game for it… I don’t have enough time

And I’ve been putting off doing it for too long

Hey, don't be scared to participate in a game jam. The worst that can happen is you submit a game that isn't very good. But who cares if you do? What's important is that you've made something, and in the making, you've learned something. That's what it's all about.

You know how you get better at doing things?

You get better at doing things by doing the things. You want to make games? Then make games, even if they're not very good, or you don't have much time, and your next game will be better and your next game will be even better.

What I'm saying is, don't be afraid to participate, don't be afraid to submit whatever you have at the end of the jam, and be proud that you submitted anything and that you learned by working on what you did submit.

question: am I allowed to use the simplest programming language ever: scratch

You can use anything, as long as you make a game that's 64x64 pixels.

Ah. Ok. Also scratch has a lot of limits so im just trying to do everything that I can.

made some pixel things. Please don’t judge me if I don’t get enough time to get the 8bit sprites
