By subpixels, do you mean that because of how I handled the movement, where it’s not constrained to the 64*64 grid, as in sometimes the character might be at 32.5 or something?
Yeah! (I don't know if sub-pixels is the correct term or not but it's the one that came to mind.)
This has been debated a bit in the past since it does break the 64x64 limit a bit, because it *technically* isn't a true 64x64 canvas, but I'm not as strict as some may be on that front! I still think it's a pretty rad game :)
ah right, cool! I guess it definitely can be counted as subpixels, I totally didn’t realise this was happening, but it completely makes sense, I didn’t clip it to full integers.
I think at the time I was more interested in making it look smooth and I forgot that it was a “sort of, it depends” restriction 😂
