hey, I’m glad you reuploaded and I got to play it, it was fun! Congrats on your first game, Godot is awesome and very very begginer friendly 😀

A few comments:

  • to my taste, it lacks a bit of feedback when the character jumps, which means that I didn’t really understand how wide the jump was. This can probably be solved or hinted through animations, like flexing the knees before jumping, then flexing again when landing. Just to give more visual cues to the player. You can also convey this with sound, by having a jump + landing sound.
  • the art is obviously not professional, but it actually really works, well done, you managed to keep it simple but still make things clear enough that we get what everything is!
  • again congrats on your first game, it’s definitely the hardest one to finish, and it only gets better after that!

thank you very much :)

Yes the jumping mechanic is the one that I wasn't totally happy with in the end.. and it's a shame because in an endless runners in one of the core mechanics. I'll follow your advice and also try to improve my pixel art skills at the same time, o really didn't know exactly what was I doing when drawing the animations, as you pointed out it's not professional :D
