It's at about this point that the browser starts to chug... 
Seriously though, this is great. The art--the background especially--are incredibly well done, and something about the idea of a mecha fish with lasers just tickles me. My only quibble is that once you've unlocked a couple permanent powerups (which are incredibly cheap for what they give you) and figured out the Lane of Safety, the game can play itself.
