Did you work in a team?
Our team has two members, one does the programming and the other the graphics. I personally enjoyd this and learned many new things with this project

Was the resolution a challenge?
At first I thought that resolution limit is nothing to worry about and that this would be fairly easy. But later it was quite difficult to fit everything into such small space while still preserving readability. Eventually the project had to become much simpler than originally thought.

What did you learn?
First off I learned how to make Advanced shops, In-game Achievement system, Screen transitions, Touch controls, Infinitely expandable upgrade system, Advanced Object spawner with rarity and type select, Grid-like map snapping and many more. I started developing games with a dream game in mind. All these will be usefull in the future.

Love the different enemies! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I played this longer than I expected. At first, I wasn't sure why you can't control the fish between tiles, but it's still an engaging challenge.

Like Tetris, the game gets faster as you progress. I would have liked to see it speed up more quickly. There was a period of time where I was kind of bored while waiting for the action to pick up.

Love your game. BGM is perfectly match with the underground SHMUP game

Cool simplified space shooter! I love the cover art best though, not sure why haha

This game is awesome!

Both design and art-wise, this game is really enjoyable! A shooter game with grid-based movement, just wow; never have thought of that before, an excellent idea! The menu transitions are very well-thought and executed. Audio definitely makes things more responsive and the game more enjoyable. It seemed to me that you have handled the resolution restriction gracefully too.

Excellent work!

Great work, really enjoyed the graphical style.

My only very minor criticism is the fish animation when moving up and down... I don't think it's necessary and is easily mistaken for an explosion!

Sweet game, really enjoyed the random aspects of it, kept the game fresh no matter how long I played it. The upgrade system also added some more replayability.

It's at about this point that the browser starts to chug...

Seriously though, this is great. The art--the background especially--are incredibly well done, and something about the idea of a mecha fish with lasers just tickles me. My only quibble is that once you've unlocked a couple permanent powerups (which are incredibly cheap for what they give you) and figured out the Lane of Safety, the game can play itself. Screenshot, uh, related.
