Really unique and interesting concept! Sometimes I got a little confused about when I was allowed to move or open the menu. Think this mechanic has a lot of potential though!
Tanks for playing the game! We tried to show that the game is pause with an as small as possible UI-Text as to not block the view of the level because you need to see the Level to move the buttons. But you are right, we should have added another indicator for the break that isn't textbased.
