One of the best games I played in this jam, with cute art style and funny story. It was satisfying setting fire to everything with the fire breath.
Some things that could be improved:
- Make it more clear what can damage the player. I didn't know that the panicking people could damage me
- I possibly found a bug. If I pick up the fire breath powerup, I think it starts a timer and if that timer goes out, I revert to the normal ranged attack. The problem is that if I pick up another before the timer runs out, nothing happens and the second powerup is wasted. It should reset the timer to the beginning.
- This is really nitpicking but the attack animation feels delayed. The damage occurs way before any animation actually plays. Maybe make the animation more immediate when clicking? Or sync the damage with the headbutt.
