Very interesting game! I managed to get 203, 213 and finally 280  points at the end. I think there could be different goals, they even may be chosen randomly when you start the game.

The first goal would be to get minimum point (means, to perform minimal number of shoots). The second goal - is to complete a game for a minimal time. The main and third goal could be in opposite - to reach maximum points. Makes sense because more balls make harder to complete a level.

Also as an idea - there could be different background music when you reach new levels.

Overall it's an interesting game with a potential. Great job!

Thank you for your kind comments! Actually, when I made this game my intention was for people to play this game for very long, like maybe an hour, to try and maximise their high score. Unfortunately that didn't really happen, although it is understandable since people have other games to play and rate. But still, that was why I mentioned having an online leaderboard in my Creational Chaos comment, so people are motivated to do just that when they see what scores other people can achieve (although I wouldn't have time to implement it anyway, not to mention I have no idea how to do that.).

As for the goals you mentioned they are interesting. For your minimum points goal though, it doesn't seem very interesting to me, mainly because the strategy is already quite obvious - hit one brick, hit the ceiling, and repeat. So there is already a minimum score you can achieve, and the game becomes solely about accuracy and achieving that goal, compared to maximising your score where there is a lot more variation on what strategy you can pick. I will consider your other time trial goal though.

As for the music, like I said I didn't have time, and I have never ever made music for a game before, so I was actually hoping to get away with just a few sound effects :P.
