As always, beautiful and atmospheric, with excellent animations. But way too hardcore, I barely passed 3 or 4 screens.

Many thanks for such a detailed and valuable review! I'm still going to comprehend the right way to make movement better. Of course the main goal is to give players the possibility of inventing their own tactics. Game with a simple yet engaging idea plus a variety of tactics is indeed what makes a game design solid. Having lack of time we decided to stick to fixed small map size and of course there's a lot of bugs, but in future we definitely should think on the map size and bonuses and other things that identifies player, as you said. Once again thank you for the feedback! This is our first gamejam and feedbacks like this one is something that makes the gamejam experience so valuable!
Good attempt especially considering that it was created on weekend only. Could be a bit more chaotic. Maybe a bit more effects or background music. Maybe some 'wow effect' is missing here.
But still it's a fresh look on Pong. At least I haven't seen it before.
p.s. as an idea, I first thought that the ball will destroy black cell if touched, so a player must protect blacks while destroying blues. It might make the game too hard though, but who knows.
Wow I don't know guys why you still have so few votes, your game is very fun! What can do a team of three? They can do a music which greatly fits the theme, they can do very enjoyable 3d house, they can create simple yet addictive game design.
Finally, this is a very solid completed game, very fun and chaotic! Bravo!
Amazing game with great sound track. Music fade in is a find! The game makes me try again and again in hope that there is something there, deep inside.
Scope of the game is pretty small as it should be on gamejam, simply pure idea, which to me is very fresh and presented in a stylish way. My applouse.
Thank you for playing! Yes I totally agreed and some of commenters have also mentioned that auto-fire or hold-to-fire feature is needed. I'm gonna add this in future along with fixing some bugs and some other polishing.
This is our first jam, so there's still a lot to learn, but I want to say it's a great experience in all areas of gamedev at once. Be it game design or programming or making effects and music. And even marketing and promotion. The further the better!
The idea is quite similar to Lightsaber VR game and the game is pretty hard. Actually I don't know how I managed to get 44 points lol. I like the music.
Boxes are moving very fast so I had no time to watch the sidebar, so I was just trying to catch a single box from every row. The game is simple in mechanics, nothing to add actually. Good job.
Played Temple Of Chaos by Eric Sexton and co - this is definitely worth playing
Wow guys you've made an awesome game! I like those skeletons they're not so harmless at all! Reloading animation is a nice find. And cards mechanics is very interesting, this game can be very very fun with multiplayer and with lots of different cards. I include this game to my personal TOP 5 games on this jam!
My answer is YES, hippos can! This game took me in 90's, to my childhood. These dragons are beautiful. And the main character's avatar... hmm, honestly The Hippo could play the main role in StarCraft2 instead of Jim Raynor lol.
Besides what was said, this game has well designed core gameplay, the shop is an addictive thing indeed. I reached 2k altitude and it was success. After 5 or 10 minutes I was easily fly after 12k. The progress brings so much fun. And of course money counter, very chaotic yet fun. Excellent example how to fit chaotic theme but stay interesting and engaging.
Congrats!
There's a lot of work put in pixelart which is great! Many different characters, every one with his own animations. The chaotic theme is fit very well. Gamedesign though could be developed better. I just walked through all rooms and that's it. There were some machines but I didn't understand their purpose. Probably this is because of lack of time. Well, next time try to stick to smaller scope in art but develop at least core gameplay with some challenge for player.
Still this game worth to be noted and I wish you good luck!
Hi, I've tried 53 games so far. The best for me is Creational Chaos ( https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1168382) I'm playing it three days in a row. Удачи ;)
The idea is great and the art is great. But game design is poor, I learned how to play only after reading comments here. And the game is too hard, tons of enemy ships start coming up soon, while your weak base barely stands still. This game has a great potential, I wish you good luck!
upd.: oh, when looking at other players screenshots I suppose I have some wrong boundaries on my screen
I found myself smiling all the time while playing. I've already seen a game on this jam where you had to handle several activities at a time, but this one is made with style. Every mini-game is interesting and they are so different! Very nice game design!
Games of the genre make players tired pretty soon as it's hard to keep attention. But it's definitely chaotic. Good job!
p.s. Oh, there's a bug with UI placement on full screen
I've played with fun and even finished the game.
Good entry for a jam especially for beginner. I like different modes like 'small people', 'fast guns' and so on. Game is somehow addicting and you play cuz you want to see what will be next. And the final message brought me a feeling of completion.
It's great that you have finished your project, I wish you best luck with your next games!
It's a good looking game, I was inspired of a desert spirit. At first it was pretty easy but I suddenly caught one spike and died. Ooops, okay one more try. This time I was able to collect 40 runes and there was complete madness on the screen at the time. The game is fun to play and I also find something similar to the idea of my own game, though very different realization and it's great! Good job!
Very interesting game! I managed to get 203, 213 and finally 280 points at the end. I think there could be different goals, they even may be chosen randomly when you start the game.
The first goal would be to get minimum point (means, to perform minimal number of shoots). The second goal - is to complete a game for a minimal time. The main and third goal could be in opposite - to reach maximum points. Makes sense because more balls make harder to complete a level.
Also as an idea - there could be different background music when you reach new levels.
Overall it's an interesting game with a potential. Great job!
