I think the game design on this one was really good! I really liked that the last row moved slower than the first, which gave you a fair chance of hitting the rotten wood in that row. I also feel like more rotten wood spawned in the first row, which made it easier to remove the rotten wood in the later rows without hitting any good logs. Really clever :D

All-in-all a really unique and manageable idea for this three hours game jam. The execution was also great! Of course some sound and music would have been nice, but I am sure you know this :P As others have said, a bit more juice would be amazing if you decide to continue working on this. Like particles when you hit a log or when you shoot, etc. Another little thing is that sometimes I hit two chunks of wood at the same time, which sometimes felt a bit unfair when it removed a good log as well (although it removed bad logs an equal amount of times, so it may not be a bad thing :P)

Great submission! I really liked it :)

I'm so happy that you recognized my "balancing" there! It was so simple, but worked right out of the gate when testing it. You just described my entire thought process while creating it. :'D

As this was my first 3-hour-jam, I'm so grateful for the positive feedback! Music, Particles, Post Processing, maybe even a timer + leaderboard will surely come in an update soon. :')
Yeah, I spotted that bug too. It is not intended and I will need to fix it ASAP. It just will feel better.

Thank you very much!

I fixed the problem, where the player could hit two logs with one shot - should be much better now. I also had some time to create and implement sounds and music. And as you suggested, particles do much to the overall look and feel. Thank you again for your input! :')

Amazing! It feels much better to play already :D

I also saw you made the sounds and music yourself :O Thats really cool! It fits really well. Great job!

That's so kind of you. It was fun to compose some 8-bit stuff for the first time. I used a tool from itch.io for it. Would totally recommend it, much fun: https://terrycavanagh.itch.io/bosca-ceoil
Today I finally added an online leaderboard. Was much harder than expected, but I think I got it working now. :'D
