Thank you for that first line in the description! I almost gave up, but really wanted to see more of the game, learning that core mechanic was key to success with the boss fight. It would have been better if the in-game tutorial had given me that advice though. I'm sure you know that now, that's why you added it to the description.

This was a fun, short jam romp and battle. I think the player feels a little too floaty. I'd find myself wanting to get into the action, but was still waiting to return to the ground.

Some more clear feedback on when I was damaging the boss would be great too. I noticed it did kick out those "blam" sort of outlines when I was hitting it, but more audio feedback, or even a classic flash of white on the enemy.

Respect for the own noise diversifier. I liked the grunts and oomphs when jumping and punching.

Solid entry for a solo dev. Fun little experience and just odd enough to keep me wanting to explore. Well done.

Thanks for the feedback! I've definitely learned a lot about the need for feedback from this jam, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that calls those blams (that's their actual in-game title). There's also a nasty squishing noise whenever you hit an eye, but I think I might not have made it noticeable enough.
