Awesome game ! I played it all the way through, and i really love the cartooney art style, the mech design with matching pods is so good, and for a solo made thing, these city maps are also really cool, and as a fellow Godot dev, i found the "professor godot" character pretty funny :p

2 small issues if i had to nitpick :

1) didn't really affect the game but was visible since you let the console in the build, and that's all the errors @D.Galga mentioned below

2) sometimes it was a bit hard to judge where you could walk or not, i've had some steps where i didnt seem to be able to climb up and manage to do so upon insisting, and i guess that was the intended path since i found some capsules up there, and the same goes with finding ways to go back down, though i gotta point that this issue was in part mitigated with the ability to pickup and drop freely at anytime the capsules, so i was able to drop some off the edge and then find my way down eventually.

Oh and i know this is probably cause of time constraints but too bad the game lacked any sound, it would have been cool to complement the high level polish of the visuals ^^

Ok now despite these, solid game and it was fun, plus you made a well explained tutorial about every aspect and i like how levels got gradually bigger to ease you in

Good job :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and comment.

It's quite frustrating being totally aware of most of the issues people are going to have with the game, but without enough time, or perhaps just not the right focus to fix the important issues instead of doing the fun things :) I definitely wanted to improve the controls and make it easier to move around and had several ideas for how to do it, but I just didn't. Maybe I'll go back to it one day and fix it, but I got kinda burned out working on it for now.

Lack of sound was a huge bummer. I didn't appreciate enough what a huge difference even just a few choice sound effects can make to the game. Hopefully my next jam game will have sound.
