Ok so not sure how I found this game but thought would give it a try and to be honest I am a tad disappointed. It honestly seems to me to be a cash Grab. An the reason I say this is cause of what the Developer, Creator, whatever you care to call them is doing. They are "Making you, Charging you $8 or more here on Itch.io." But in the Game some events are LOCKED behind a paywall which they do NOT tell you about. An example would be you pay the $8 here on Itch.io and expect to play the game your purchased. But when you get to said events says "Locked behind Patreon Legend Tier." Which by the way is a $25 SUB per month. I understand it's your "game" and you have to make money on it. But way to fuck people twice. Why not give them the game for FREE and let them decide if they want to pay the $25 to support you. Instead of give me $8 to TRY the game only to find out it's behind a paywall. To me that is Shady and not a way to promote your game. If your gonna do that at least tell the people so they can know the facts before trying or Paying for your game.

Ah Thank you kindly. I do find your grammar quite alarming since you obviously don't know how to spell or to do complete sentences. Use Spell check next time. Plus my comment is not a Faulty Account and I don't do Negative reviews. This is a CASH grab game. The fact that he hides that behind some Shady BS is wrong. If he is gonna add content behind a paywall instead of telling people up front then he deserves this review. Cause people should know don't blow $8 here and then find out there's no COMPLETE game that some scenes are hidden behind a paywall and to get them you have to go to their Patreon Site and Pay $25 on top of the already $8 you paid for the game. If you have a issue with me speaking the truth tough shit.
An BTW do you even know what a paywall is moron? It's where a Developer / Creator makes said Game, Visual Novel whatever and calls it complete, then hides content behind a paywall. So in order to see said content you have to Purchase it! So it's NOT a COMPLETE GAME that you just just paid them $8 for. Your just paying for a Demo, Trial, whatever you care to call it. Which if they, Void Star or whoever the hell wasn't being SHADY about it. They would tell you that in the description instead of waiting, letting whatever you pay the $8 and find out "oh hey I can't see this content, cause I gotta pay the extra $25 on Patreon on top of the $8 I just paid here on itch.io." So yes to me that is SHADY and people should KNOW.
Absolutely valid feedback. I am very sorry for that. I thought I mentioned the $25 patron tier sex scene reward in the description, but I have missed it. I added it now as it should've been there from the start.
Just to elaborate on people trying the game before paying $8, I do have a free demo available which you don't have to pay anything for. It includes the full 0.1 version which is the prologue.
I personally appreciate this insight, however, I wonder if you'd be able to set aside this disappointment long enough to say whether you think what you get for the $8 is good quality content on it's own, maybe enough for some of us to play that much and just forgo the 'legend tier' costs.
And to the Dev, Yeah, I think it's fair to find a way to monetize your hobbies, especially if you're exceptionally skilled at it. I regularly send creators donations if I go through their content and it hit me positively in some way, because I'd like to see them create more content.
but.
I gotta say, asking for a monthly subscription of $25 to unlock a fraction of the experience? On top of a requirement to buy in the first place? That's quite a stretch if there ever was one. I'm gonna check out Forgotten Paradise, cause I'm curious if your work is worth buying into in the first place, but you should be aware that the market you're competing in, the best works out there are completely free with an option to support, or another common one, the content is free up to two updates ago, and you gotta pay a couple of dollars to get the latest content. You're shit has got to be triple A polished [Which you're really not gonna get with Ren'Py] to expect people to pay $25/mo to access a little extra content. If it's working, awesome, but if it's not... well then... you know why. [Don't bother trying to convince me it's working. I know how this shit works.]
