I personally appreciate this insight, however, I wonder if you'd be able to set aside this disappointment long enough to say whether you think what you get for the $8 is good quality content on it's own, maybe enough for some of us to play that much and just forgo the 'legend tier' costs.

And to the Dev, Yeah, I think it's fair to find a way to monetize your hobbies, especially if you're exceptionally skilled at it. I regularly send creators donations if I go through their content and it hit me positively in some way, because I'd like to see them create more content.

but.

I gotta say, asking for a monthly subscription of $25 to unlock a fraction of the experience? On top of a requirement to buy in the first place? That's quite a stretch if there ever was one. I'm gonna check out Forgotten Paradise, cause I'm curious if your work is worth buying into in the first place, but you should be aware that the market you're competing in, the best works out there are completely free with an option to support, or another common one, the content is free up to two updates ago, and you gotta pay a couple of dollars to get the latest content. You're shit has got to be triple A polished [Which you're really not gonna get with Ren'Py] to expect people to pay $25/mo to access a little extra content. If it's working, awesome, but if it's not... well then... you know why. [Don't bother trying to convince me it's working. I know how this shit works.]
