Major notes of flash! This most definitely feels like an old 2006 flash game that hundreds would spend far too long trying to play.

This being said, I feel it does not meet to par with today’s standards, but isn’t exactly bad. The gameplay actually worked well for the most part and the art even somewhat fit, albeit poor quality. The only notable bug I found was that randomly I was unable to enter the closets anymore.

That being noted, I will say it was a little hard, but I actually feel it added to the experience instead of taking away from it.

However, do not let this all get to your head. There is most definitely issues in quality and I feel that despite you having a decent concept, it will be the thing that holds this title back. Do know though, you are doing something right, so keep trying!

Overall, it was a decent concept, but less than great visual execution.

Mr. West, I appreciate that you took the time and enjoyed the game. I’m grateful that my first solo game has been getting more attention than expected. Let me give you my feedback in return.

I’m aware that the game still has his flaws as I’m was halted from progressing with the game to its full potential. It is a bad start, but it’s one I’m willing to accept. I’ve learned a lot from making this game and how to make it better for the next one.

As for quality, Deadghoul still isn’t adjusted to the pixel art, but he is still looking forward to master it. Retro games and flash games are just that, old. It’s an old formula, yet many people find them interesting. I thought about changing the element, but I couldn’t take the risk for the moment. My coding will have to clutch the system and I’m confident about that myself.
