The game looked and sounded real nice, but the controls were very unresponsive and I kept dying on my first jump... I replayed about ten times and never got any farther than the first time I had to jump. I don't know if the ropes were actual ropes, but nothing I did made them work for me. I thought maybe up and down arrows, but that just shifted my whole screen (ie like hitting down on a website with scrollbars would do). There was nothing I could do, because I couldn't do anything at all. I really wanted to, though, because the game looked and sounded amazing.

Also, for a runner-style game, it seems like you move very slowly.

Wow, thank you for trying so many times! Yeah it really sucks that the page moves when using arrow keys, and that I forgot to map the WASD keys to movement.

The only way around that now is to play in fullscreen unfortunately.

The ropes can indeed be climbed with the up arrow. If you're willing to try again (and I completely understand if you're not)  try clicking on the game (bringing focus to it essentially ). The itch.io page will probably still move, but at least you should have full controls in the game. Or try fullscreen.

Yeah the slow running was a design choice. I understood that not everyone will like that, but I wanted it to feel like you're in one of those dream/nightmare where you move in almost slow motion; but too slow would be boring, and too fast would feel generic IMO. It's supposed to feel awkward though.

Anyways, thanks again for playing, Cheers!
