Nice approach. I see you've chosen to interpret "flight" as flying instead of fleeing and you've done a good job with that.
I think there's a conceptual flaw with this game design, in that it's inherently repetitive. Flying back and forth from point A to point B isn't really that fun. It makes the game feel slow, even though the controls and player speed aren't bad. I think the sword animation is also a little too slow, which impacts the satisfaction you get while wielding it.
I also really don't like how it instantly closes the application when you press escape.
I thought the sounds design was top notch, though.
