Nice approach. I see you've chosen to interpret "flight" as flying instead of fleeing and you've done a good job with that.

I think there's a conceptual flaw with this game design, in that it's inherently repetitive. Flying back and forth from point A to point B isn't really that fun. It makes the game feel slow, even though the controls and player speed aren't bad. I think the sword animation is also a little too slow, which impacts the satisfaction you get while wielding it.

I also really don't like how it instantly closes the application when you press escape.

I thought the sounds design was top notch, though.

I totally agree about the repetitiveness of it. I had other ideas in mind to break this problem but due to the time crunch, didn't have time to implement them.

My thought process with the escape key was just so the player had a quick way to exit the game when they were finished playing. I can see why that's a flawed concept and how there are better ways to go about it.
