Good job on making a game in a such short time! If you do not mind I have a few things to say.
-First of all the game is way too big, I mean there are a ton of particles, buildings, which are unnecessary. You could've added a few buildings and particles here and there and It would've given the same feeling as it does now, plus it would've made the game a lot smoother, because of fps increase.
-Try adding some kind of goal/power ups/more aggressive enemies/timer on the ability/limited ability usage. Trying to complete a goal while you can use your ability only a few times before it depletes, while some kind of a very fast monster is chasing you, sounds a lot more interesting and challenging. That would make the game much more interesting, it would build tension and immersion.
-Making 3d is always more complicated, so when you have a such short timeframe I suggest simplifying the game as much as possible. For example, in your case, I would've made 2d game with 3d models (you can just make camera look from one side with an orthographic view), and with that you give yourself tons of additional time for polishing, because now there is no need to try improving third person camera or movement controls, also no need to spend time on optimizing the game. And most important the game would've been as fun as it is now.
I am not saying you should always make 2d games, I'm just suggesting that if you can you should at least think about the way to make game simpler without losing too much. In my opinion, in the game jams short like this, representing your idea in a clear and simple way is the most important thing.
Overall, I should say that the game has a nice mechanic and good visuals. With some more work it could end up being a pretty good game, so I hope you are going to keep working!
