Hey! I tried the game for a while, and I really like the ambiance and the visual and sound design. However, I struggle to find the fun: the platforming mechanics don't have much depth, carrying logs back and forth to the dig sites feels like a chore, and the driving doesn't feel great. I liked the idea and the visuals, but all that made me not want to continue playing.

I found a few bugs, like the sounds for the truck staying on when sleeping from the menu or interacting with multiple things at the same time because everything is bound to E. I also got a log buggily stuck on my hands that still allowed me to pick up other stuff - see gif below.

Anyway, there's still a lot of things to like about this demo, but another design pass is very needed I think.

great points all around! thank you for the kind words about the aesthetics :) I absolutely get where you're coming from regarding the 'fun' and that was one of the biggest things I wanted to explore with this demo -- seeing if ppl actually enjoy what I've made! I have a number of ideas regarding expanding puzzle-platforming, and I think you're dead-on about the beams -- they need some kind of overhaul to make it less of a chore. thanks for the bug reports as well (especially the vid)! they're super helpful, and I'll be updating the demo with fixes for these bugs and others in the coming days/weeks. your feedback will make this a better game, and I thank you for that!
