Thank you for the feedback! I always try to come up with unique puzzles, but I can see how this makes some of them unintuitive and at times questionable. There is a plot related reason as to why I couldn't use inner monologue to help the player, so I hoped the twinkle would be enough. (But I can see how this wouldn't really help with any of the pin codes or the present puzzle) Sofia? was a very big learning experience for me, being the first non-jam game I have published, and I have many thoughts and ambitions going forward. I am very thankful towards all the patience the players have shown me and I hope to see everyone around again for my next release :)

Whatever you do, just don't give up. This was a really good game for your first game made outside of a game jam!
It was one of the first ever horror games I actually played by myself and enjoyed playing. I usually just watch YouTubers play stuff since I'm too scared of jumpscares and playing horror games by myself in general but this game handled jumpscares pretty well and the actual arrangement of all the events was pretty good aswell (the day/night cycle, where you're safe at day but in danger at night, and later on the danger sorta leaking into the day aswell)
And the story was also REALLY good, and the actual reasoning for you to go out and do all of those things was both cute and terrifying (having to keep Fio safe)

No worries, I'm definitely not giving up! I'm currently working on 3 games that are coming along quite nicely and I can't wait to share with the world :D I totally get being too scared to play most horror games by yourself, but I'm glad you gave my game a try anyway! :3
