I did all the renders in Daz 3D, and you can buy premade assets from various places to arrange into scenes, which is what I did. I haven't attempted 3D modeling yet. The premade assets are by far the priciest part of development.
I also used Marvelous Designer for some of the clothing because Daz isn't great with highlighting certain body parts :) And I did post-processing of the images in GIMP.
These programs took a lot of time and practice to learn, but there are some excellent tutorials on YouTube. Daz is free to mess around with and comes with a few basic assets. You could ty it out, and if you don't vibe with it, no need to invest in it.

Thank you for the reply! I'll dive into these programs for sure! I saw some stuff about Daz 3D when I was first looking into it so knowing you made all this with that program is really promising to me. And I did notice that Daz didn't seem to have a built in ability to show certain parts haha so I will absolutely be looking up Marvelous Designer. Was there a good marketplace for the 3D assets you found? Everything seems kinda scattered to me.
Anyway, I appreciate the response and am looking forward to seeing your game evolve!
