The character design and animation are great reminds me of Harvest Moon Tree Of Tranquility which I love! I think the thing that would give the biggest boost to the experience would be sound effects even just a small background loop and a pickaxe hitting noise would add a lot.

Also I love the personality in the instructions I feel that with controls being super hard lol!
