A good question springs to mind I am genuinely interested in - What is the optimal music / sound setting for Gdevelop games?

I am not so deep into sound design, I think the best practice is the option to change the volume of both sfx and music. I did not have time to implement these features in my game so I ended up just setting 50% volume to everything I used.

I mostly set my game's volume to about 80% while the sound effects are at 100.

I hoped that way, my games wouldn't cause any discomfort while being played.
