Thank you so much for your comment and time you took for writing it, this means a lot, honestly. I completely agree pretty much on everything you said. And as a team we already discussed how we could solve this in future. We made some bad strategic decisions at the start on how different departments worked on the game and in what order (I believe we had the talent, but we came short when we tried to fit pieces together, mainly because of our inexperience). On the next jam we will concentrate on base mechanic and play-test hopefully on day one, work on small "platform puzzle areas" on the map, then build outwards from there, in that way we could create a game with more cohesive feel, where game design, visuals, audio and aminations came together more organically.

I'm really glad you've both responded positively to the feedback; I was really worried I was too harsh. It sounds like you've learnt a lot from this jam which is completely the point of doing these. Hopefully, this will stick with you for the next one and, if I'm also in it, I'm going to struggle to compete alongside you guys. You've got some real talent on your team, so I'm sure you'll do well with whatever your plans are for the future. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing what you can accomplish.
