Thanks for playing! You could actually start combat by clicking on a visible enemy but I realize that wasn't very clear so I've added an icon change and some text to make that clearer. There was a bug with movement that was triggering some npc code but I fixed that too. Not sure about the level change but it hasn't happened to me in the current version.
