Keep trying to buy the game on steam but say "Will be Released in April 2022."
Is that accurate because the demo say it ready for download
Yup, this is intended. You can add the game to your wishlist for now, release will be very soon, about middle of April.
There isn't written in the demo that the game is available right now, just link where it will be. But I agree the wording might suggest it's ready.
