This is walking around a Windows Maze with scary ambiance and a number near the top saying how far away you are from spawn. The darkness feature associated with your Insanity is suuuper annoying. I understand that by pressing R to reset my Insanity meter, that may increase the likelihood of the screen going dark, but why so frequently? I can't seem to move 6 steps without it becoming dark again near the middle parts of Insanity. Why not something like a dim flashlight, where you can only see a little in front of you? The goal is to get away from the start, but I feel no incentive to keep playing if the game constantly forces me to double back and then punishes me every 5-20 with burst of darkness.

The concept can be molded and shaped into something so much more. You use jumping in the tutorial, but it's not relevant to the actual gameplay. There are no enemies, except the willingness of your own mind trying to keep playing the game.

I'm being perhaps a bit too harsh on what it probably a first foray to making a game, but that's just how passionate I feel, because I wanted to get spooked in a Insanity simulator and all I got was my neighbors disconnecting the power while I'm lost in my house.
