The atmosphere is decent, and combining a top-down view with text descriptions is a decent idea, but randomly taking away health or sanity when I'm opening doors isn't scary, it's just frustrating. I gave it a couple of goes without having any clue if I was progressing or even going in the right direction.

Hi John. While it might not seem it at the moment, we wanted the events to be solved by dice rolls based on your stats. That's all done behind the scenes for the moment but it is not a permanent solution. I understand that the seemingly random win/fail statements handed to a player can be frustrating.
I would like blame this on the time constraints but I see how the lack of focus on player direction makes the game a bit disorganized and more attention should have been put on player-character relationships.
I hope still, that you can see some kind of underlying potential in this title, and your words will be taken to heart as we continue to develop this. In particular, making sure the player has a sense of direction and a clear way of tracking your progress would be instrumental in improving this title.
Thank you for your review :-)
