I completely disagree with you. Life goes on even after the death of someone close. Everyone has needs, and sex is a need, just like food and water. Even in times of war, people had sex when they killed people because they loved each other. The protagonist didn't do anything wrong, he just didn't tell the truth to save the elf. He saves her. And the fact that there is a spark between him and elf is not bad. These are mutual feelings. But if our main character killed her mother himself, and then had sex with an elf, then that would be bad. But he didn't kill her mother. He wanted to save her.

Relax dude. As the dev said, the quest line is not finished yet. I think the elf consenting to having sex with the hunter is more natural on the previous version. Wait for the elf's story to conclude before you judge the sex.

They probably just clicked because they wanted to see what you guys had made, since consent is present in the rest of the game. Personally, I wasn't expecting he would touch her while she was sleeping, and definitely not go as far as raping her while she was unconscious and then celebrate that he was lucky he wasn't caught.

If you don't think the scene is offensive, but recognize it is rape, maybe you could add a penalty to a player who chooses to rape instead of just covering her up, for example, which is a reasonable option to add in my opinion.
