Yeah the instant kill laser may be a little much haha, but it's not that bad since you respawn at the start of the room (initially it was at the start of the previous room lol)

I agree that Andolink did a great level design with those different path that reward the player for exploring the levels, props to him!

The player is slow, but for fast travelling you can hold the spacebar to run. It wasn't told in game unfortunately, maybe we should have put a text somewhere for that.

Hm, I might have encountered a bug then: whenever I died I restarted the entire game. But then again I was also playing on Arcade difficulty so I don’t know if that’s a gimmick it adds.

Yeah the Arcade difficulty is based on the arcade mode from Ikaruga, where you need to finish the game without any checkpoint. Otherwise on normal and easy modes you have checkpoint at the start of every levels
