Very Cool Game ! Match the theme perfectly.

Lots of content for a jam game. Kuddos on that !

I'm a Big fan of shapez & factorio so I was totally up for the whole ride & I just past the last 45min going through all the levels.

Few feedbacks if you decide to iterate on it (Please do because I want more ^^)

  • I kept wanting to click & drag at first instead of click, drag & click.
  • Maybe rotate the element by default so they would go left to right instead of top to down. since you have more space to organize your sequences on the screen that way.
  • Consider always displaying the panel for easy access so you can drag & drop element in the scene easily (you can make it smaller, right now it take a lot of space when open) this would also make deleting an element less painfull.
  • The moving shapes are shaded where the rest of the elements are flat.  which make it a bit weird to look at. You should pick one style & stick to it so the whole thing is more coherent.
  • maybe give an incentive to use as less elements as possible to produce the more efficent sequence possible ( Hight low score), or put a limited number of each element to add some challenge ?

That said, I had a great time going through your game. and would enjoy playing it again if you decide to continue it after the jam.

Cheers !

That's some very insightful feedback! Thank you! I'll definitely be implementing what you've suggested. My goal is to release an update in mid-july so if you want to suggest things whilst I'm developing the game I've put a discord server link in the games description, It'd be really helpful to have this kinda feedback throughout development. Do you have plans to continue developing your game jam entry?

Thanks ! That's very cool to read :)
I'll gladly join the discord.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna iterate on my entry but I will at least give it a post jam update depending on the feedbacks I receive on it.

I started working on a more long term game on my spare time but it's still a bit early in the developement ^^
