Perhaps a little heavy-handed and self-conscious. But I actually thought it was genuinely quite beautiful. The idea of stepping out of the rainy street into some sort of imaginary/hallucinatory exhibition makes me feel almost like being in a Hermann Hesse Novel like Steppenwolf. Good job!
