It did not disappoint. Super cool! I'll be interested to see what you make next. Btw how was this rated in the bottom 3rd of entries in this jam?  I swear most people giving these ratings are super lame. Super-duper lame!

Right, I'm gonna give it a spin. This better be worth it lol

the mac version doesn't work. When I try to run it it says:

The application “GHOST TRUCK” can’t be opened.

Thanks, yeah good points

Very nice graphics. Gameplay could use some work

Looks interesting, please upload a mac or browser version so I can play. I don't currently have a monitor for my windows desktop

Thanks, yeah valid points

Thanks, yeah fair point I didn't have time for finishing touches

Good point, I'll avoid using 'R' for restart in my next game

Depends where you shoot 'em

I could see this being developed into a really cool game. At the moment it's a bit too difficult I find. It could also be an idea to have a squad of ships that you control like this (that maybe can't hurt each other) and then a bunch of enemy ships to eliminate. Not sure how that would play out though

Surprisingly addictive even though I struggled to get the hang of it. Since you had some time to spare it would've been good to get the camera to smoothly transition instead of just snapping to new positions which is disorientating. It would be nice to have checkpoints (maybe there were some and I just didn't make it far enough to find them). Also, since you (or I at least) have to restart a lot, it would be good to assign a key instead of a mouse click to restarting.

Thanks, yeah it was my intention to make the graphics as terrible as possible!

Why did the gun make you feel uncomfortable in a way that a melee weapon wouldn't?

Personally I like this sort of art style. The game has character. Probs my favourite of the jam so far, but I have quite unusual taste

Also, if you're interested in making games with these sorts of mechanics then I would highly recommend you play a game called Brute developed by MGFM. You can find it on Steam.

Yeah I realised it was to mimic the movement of a jetpack but I think this is probably somewhere to sacrifice realism for more satisfying game mechanics. Just my opinion though

I really like the visuals, music and overall vibe. But I think the gameplay is just too hard. How long are you able to keep the cloud alive?

Nice submission! It would be good if there was an indication of what you need to do to beat each level e.g. how many enemies you need to kill. Also, it's annoying how your character is always moving up and down without you doing anything. Probably better to just let the player fully control the character and maybe have momentum to make it more interesting and 'physicsy'

Unfortunately it's crashing Chrome every time I try to run it. It crashes while it's displaying the loading bar

Thanks for playing! Bear in mind I didn't create the 3D models, animations and sounds. Those were taken from free online asset sources.  I also reused some elements from my previous games.

Nice, thanks for playing!

Thanks! Good point, I'll use a different restart key next time

Thanks for playing. Did you manage to stop the music?

Seems like it could be really fun but it's too difficult, at least at the beginning.

Can't figure out the controls

Nice overall vibe and good use of the theme. Would be good to add a bit of variety to the gameplay. I pushed my owner off the island at the end. Where did you get that sweet skybox?

Did you manage to kill Kyll?

Super cool idea and style. I think this could be expanded into a proper game

Seems potentially interesting but I found that the first few levels were easy and then there was suddenly a level that seemed impossible (with the 4 blue blocks, the hole in the middle, the purple thing you can activate and the goal off the edge to the right)

Very nice visual style. The gameplay could be more interesting though

Cool style but the order in which you had to press the circles often seemed arbitrary and easy to brute force anyway. It would've been much better if there were too many possible combinations to brute force and getting the right order required interesting insights from the player

I tried it again. Now I'm stuck in the second room. the button next to the door says something like 'press E to interact' but pressing E does nothing

Very nice graphics! Would be good if there were sounds as well. Obviously you need to sort out where the player starts in each screen (they should start on the screen). Personally I would prefer less text

Seems cool but I don't understand what I'm meant to do. There are directions for morse code, but then there's a keyboard where you can just type the characters without morse code, but then I have no idea what I'm meant to type...

Looks very cool but it would be nice if there was something to do...

Very cool! Good to see some fellow aficionados of the egglike. Some suggestions: I think it would be better if you could jump and look around in any direction. It would be nice if the music didn't cut out so much. It would be nice if there was a way to regain health or to kill the zombies without taking damage.

There doesn't seem to be any way out of the starting area. All I can do is collect those two coins. Also, you should upload a .zip containing everything needed to run the game instead of multiple files that need to be downloaded

yeah that isn't ideal. I was very pressed for time as I made most of the game on the day of the deadline for the jam. Thanks for playing and sharing your experience
