Woops, that was short. I chuckled at the 4th wall break and the overall ambience and message was nice.

Perhaps a little heavy-handed and self-conscious. But I actually thought it was genuinely quite beautiful. The idea of stepping out of the rainy street into some sort of imaginary/hallucinatory exhibition makes me feel almost like being in a Hermann Hesse Novel like Steppenwolf. Good job!
A warm and pleasant artistic reflection, looking at exhibits during a rainstorm. A big smile came over my face when the first painting actually showed up for me to examine while reading, and I appreciated the thoughtful, if brief, conversation.
I also laughed a few times at the fourth-wall-breaking route, especially with how the narrator seems to accept that even steadfastly refusing to engage with their story counts as engagement and thanks you for playing anyway. It brought me back to playing some classic Flash games, and I appreciated that the narrator was even-tempered about it.
I like that you made this all out of public materials. I really like using public domain music in my games as well. It's a nice message, and I greatly appreciate that you were willing to make a quiet and low-concept game, which is both daring and tough to execute.
But...you really shouldn't have a branch of your game that scolds the player for not choosing the option you wanted. Just take away the "don't go in" option so they have to, or end the game with something like "You walk away, wistfully wondering what you might have missed."
Thank you! Actually for the last one it's up to debate. I wanted to show that even when you think you are doing "the unpredictable choice" it's still predicted by the developer. So your solution is nice for immersion but something a bit to usual and expected for me. I agree it's more classical and rewarding.
Even if it's really short it's evocative - and I liked the concept .-)
what a nice and fun to play game. clever selection of music, nice story and good combination with game play.
