Every character falls into some classic love trope. In the nicest way, Gil is a playful man who falls into the "I'm not afraid to show my affection out loud" type of guy, which I'm guessing you know already.

If I'm not mistaken, Parker helped with the divorce papers, and Parker and Gil used to be a thing(?). (Parker was the first main storyline I did and don't remember much of it, correct me if I'm wrong. I started like a week ago :P.) With Gil's playful and touchy nature, it wouldn't be out far from the possibility that this is his way of thanking him?

I understand the argument with Parker said stop and Gil's not stopping, but maybe that's the reason for that idk.

Wait! Parker helped with the divorce papers, and Parker and Gil used to be a thing? Is there such a story in the game? Why do I have no memory at all.

Lars × Gil, Mark × Anders, They explicitly mentioned that they used to be lovers. But Parker didn't mention that he had any love experience, he seemed to be the isolated one. In Day7, Gil told Walter that he and Lars used to be lovers and did not mention Parker. From Gil Episode, Gil was not ready to start a love relationship at that time. I don't think Gil and Parker used to be lovers.

Parker doesn't think this is a way to express gratitude. Since Parker feels disgusted, Gil should stop. Lars is the person you love, not me. I have no reason to let you touch me so ambiguously.

Thinking about it again, I'm probably wrong about the divorce papers. I could've sworn I remember during Parker's story that Gil and Parker were together at one point, saying something along the lines of because they were together, Parker would watch Gil's inappropriate actions and Gil would watch over Parker's diet. I'm going to redo Parker's story and report back.

Edit: I skimmed through it and I was wrong about the papers and them being together. whoopsie

With you saying that Gil only mentioned that he dated Lars, that could just be because the three were together at the time. He didn't need to mention Parker.

Do I think Gil should stop teasing Parker? Yes. But why would Gil continue to tease Lars if they have broken up? On the other hand, even if Parker and Gil never had a relationship together, with Gil's inappropriate nature he would sure tease everyone. I also find it weird how when Walter said to stop Gil stops but with Parker he doesn't so yea.

Yes, so it's all strange. I don't think Gil should touch Parker. The person you love is Lars, not me, even if you have touched me before.

When Walter was surprised that Gil had never touched Parker, Parker's answer was very unnatural. He summarized the reason as Gil's strong hormone secretion, which seemed like a lie. But from Gil episode, we can know that Gil used to be a pure person, which is a little contradictory.

Why did Parker interfere in the thing between "Lars × Gil" couple? Parker is just a friend. It's none of Parker's business. I think even the best friends should not intervene in the affairs of couple. This should be left to the couple to solve by themselves. I don't think Parker is a good man who has no brain to help others. Gil asked Parker to stop him while dating Lars, which was too strange. It seems too hasty to conclude that Parker is a good man and a good friend. It will appear that Parker is a flat character.

From how I see it, Gil at least knows when to back off when he's in a relationship. But when the relationship is broken up, he goes back to his inappropriate actions. Gil isn't the most "clingy" type so I don't see him going back to teasing Lars. It just doesn't feel right to tease your ex in front of people who know about your broken up relationship. Heck, even touching your ex is weird enough.

I can't touch on Gil's episode as I have never done it before, but if you take everything you said at face value, Gil had never touched Parker. Unless this conversation was past day 8, I don't recall them having this talk.

This all sounds new to me, so I'm going to interpret what you said. Even though I like Parker, he's the most normal to me, I'm not going to argue that he's not a flat character as I also think he doesn't bring much, yet. But I don't get what you mean by 'Gil asked Parker to stop him while dating Lars'. Are you saying that Gil told Parker to end their relationship?

Gil must have touched Parker. In Parker Day7, when Walter surprised that Gil had never touched Parker, Parker's answer was very unnatural and explained that Gil's hormone secretion was strong, but it stopped four or five years ago. In Lars day4, when you choose to go to a restaurant to have dinner with Parker, Parker will complain to Walter about Gil's behavior of touching him.

In someone Day7, Walter told Gil that when Lars and Gil lived together, Parker wanted to see what Gil was doing. Gil said that Parker appeared to prevent him from making the same wrong decision, and then Lars and Gil broke up. This shows that Parker is involved in the relationship between Lars and Gil.

Yes, I also hope Parker has deeper reasons for doing these things. Instead of simply summing up the reason as Parker is a good man who has no brain to help others. No matter how good a friend is, he should not interfere in the affairs of couple. Otherwise, it will appear that Parker is very simple and flat character.

In fact, many players don't have a good impression of Parker, thinking that he is a wood, a serious, rigid, and a good old man who is slow to love.

the Parker day 7 thing is Parker trying to stop Gil and Lars when he mistakenly thinks they're fucking in the restroom while Lars is actually vomiting. Gil thinks that he and Lars having broken up is a good thing. Gil makes it sound like a mutual decision, but it's possible that they were still dating when Lars disappeared and this hurt Gil. They had already broken up months before the vn started. The same wrong decision thing could either refer to getting back with Lars, or whatever mistake Parker made that he doesn't want anyone else to make.

the thing about Parker being why Gil is still a virgin could be partly a joke, like instead of being intentional maybe whatever came up that caused Gil to cancel his plans with Lars was Parker needing Gil's help with something (which could also be the night Liz put a missing persons report out on Parker).

as much as I complain about how Parker treats Gil and worry about him doing so outside the bounds of their agreement in the past and/or future, Gil did ask him to do so.

Did Parker stop Lars and Gil? It seems that he just blushed after hearing Mark's description.

Why should Parker need Gil's help? Lars and Gil's plan is canceled. What's Parker's business?

I don't think Parker has any problem with the way he treats Gil. As you said, he just acts according to the agreement. On the contrary, Gil's behavior of touching Parker is problematic. When Parker doesn't like this behavior, Gil still does it, which is a little disrespectful to Parker. Don't forget that Gil asked Parker to stop his bad behavior, but he did these bad behaviors to Parker. This is ridiculous.

I'm not your lover, why should I allow you to touch me? Since you still have feelings for Lars, why don't you touch Lars?

I'm talking about Parker route not Mark, he wanted to but Liz stopped him. We don't know how recent their agreement was. the convo between them Mark overheard in his episode on day 0 iirc seemed like they hadn't made the agreement yet. we don't know that he still has feelings for him

According to your explanation, Gil wants to getting back with Lars, which shows that Gil still has feelings for Lars. But this can't explain Gil's behavior of touching Parker, Since you are still thinking about Lars, you should not do these things to Parker. This is disrespect to Parker. You can't do whatever you want just because Parker has a good temper.

I don't understand why you complain about the way Parker treats Gil. Obviously, the way Gil treats Parker is problematic. Parker is the one who should complain. You don't like Parker. Why did you touch him?

Lars and Gil used to be a thing, not Parker and Gil. Parker does have some mysterious papers from his previous job he doesn't want Walter to see, but there hasn't been any hint that they have anything to do with divorce and may have nothing to do with Gil.

Yea that was my bad. Memory served me wrong. Whoops.

Yes, Parker is the isolated character among the five characters. But how can we explain Gil's behavior of touching Parker.

(+1)

maybe Gil has unrequited feelings for Parker, but not as strong as his feelings for Walter or former feelings for Lars.

(+1)

Why doesn't Gil touch Lars? Even though they have broken up. But when Parker doesn't like Gil's behavior, Gil should stop, but Gil doesn't stop. This is out of respect for Parker. What's more outrageous is that Gil asked Parker to manage his bad behaviors, but Gil did these behaviors to Parker.

Parker doesn't seem to want Gil to control his diet. You're right. Touching someone doesn't mean falling in love with someone, but it needs to take into account the feelings of someone. Gil only touches the people he likes. If he doesn't like Parker, it's inappropriate for him to touch Parker.
