First time manually walking to the house before the timer expires was fine. I tried it again and I got the black void again. This time I couldn't walk in the darkness and couldn't get the popup box to open up again.

That's what  it looks like:

I'm having this problem too!

hrm...interesting. I had a few people try it out without issues. What browser and OS are you running? i assume no errors pop up?

So... super weird, but I tried again on my personal laptop (same browser, Chrome) but didn't have this issue again. I was playing last night on a work computer (DON'T TELL ANYONE!!) so I'm wondering if something was trying to block it from working?

I'll see if I can look into it next time I'm at work, unless Ravery is able to help :)

also, are you able to press f12 when you get it and click the "console" button to see if there's any errors in the web console?

I also had the same issue. I use firefox for itch games. When I open my web console I do see a few errors pop up that look like they are related to the game. there's a couple more that couldn't fit into the screenshot, but there's several calls on sprites not working, and other stuff like that. I'm not sure what's causing the issue though, since it seems to work on some computers and not others, but hopefully this points you into the right direction.

Hey, that does help, Thanks! i was able to upload a quick build that i think should resolve this issue.  If you could check it and make sure, that would be helpful!

the bug still exists, sadly. if you sleep without doing anything then sleeping works totally fine, the text pops up and only this error will show:

However sometimes resting after farming for a bit will make a null error show up and nightime will never end:

Any way you can click that "down arrow" next to the NullReferenceException so i can see the full stacktrace? That should help me pinpoint it. Also, thanks for the feedback!
