My idea was to add architecture types (ex. a standard one, a low power one like ARM etc.) and you'd get experience for developing CPUs on those architectures. More exp means better ways to optimize your products which in practice would reduce time and cost needed.

I understand your idea, but bit architectures make lots of sense as we commonly refer to x86 and x64 as architectures, which do not refer to power or anything, just the bit amount. But most importantly, why do I feel like playing SystemZ right now even though it’s impossible?

What I meant by that is the fact that RISC architectures are best known for being efficient and low-power - like arm. There's a better outline of the idea here.
