I think the issue with this game is that it kind of just feels like playing a board game by yourself. Which, I guess you are. It seems well enough made, but fighting enemies feels kinda like nothing when all you can do is press 1 of 2 buttons and the outcome is random anyway.
Stuff like this i've seen on so many of these jam games though, I think this prompt was fairly difficult as it's not easy to make random dice actually engaging. Like all the good games I've played the dice barely matter. Good attempt and thanks for making it though.

Yeah I wanted to make the game multiplayer at first but was worried on how I could make that work. As for combat I did originally have a different idea where you can get new abilities and attacks as you progress through the game but I ended up with a very large scope and had to scale it down to just 2 abilities. I do really appreciate the feedback though and will try to add some sort of multiplayer and try to make the combat feel more strategic in a later version.
