Typing the number to move in that direction took some getting used to (and even still it's a little cumbersome for long straightaways) but is very interesting.  The tiles falling into place to make the levels is just so much fun to watch.  I feel like the keys and locks don't really add all that much to the design; it seems like (unless I am missing something, which is totally possible) it basically lets you combine shorter levels together to make longer ones, which is a good idea but when one mistake can force you to have to redo a level, I'm less of a fan.  Great work overall.

I was hoping to familiarize the player with the dice when dealing with long straightways,
-- but I guess there were some side effects to that though, haha :'D

You're right about the keys & locks. There is a single mechanic that could make them worth their while, but I couldn't find a place for it, lol.
It would be basically if you somehow unlocked a tile that would allow you to rotate your dice as needed, in order to reach the next step.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!
