Some on-the-fly comments made as I played!
- The graphics and music are super cute! :) I get an EarthBound vibe (even though I never played it). Maybe the policemen are from the game, I am unsure. You answered in the form that the assets are not yours, but did you create the hero? I like that hovering cyclops die with gauntlets.
- Haha, that rushed directions white panel! XD I guess you lacked some time, but that is totally fine with me, let’s be practical and guide the player, I understand the time limit could cause some hurrying.
- Oh, starting my first fight with the policeman, I see the text is in French! :o Guess what? I am French, so this is no problem for me. XD (I must confess your French title caught my eye in the list of entries needing assessment.) I am afraid non-French speaking people might have trouble… Perhaps you should give some translation elements in the comments and/or the game page?
To help a bit:
Policier ↔ Policeman
PERSO ↔ CHARACTER
Que vas-tu faire ? ↔ What are you going to do?
Attaquer ↔ Attack
Se soigner ↔ Heal
Physique ↔ Physical
Verbal ↔ Verbal
Magie ↔ Magic
Utilitaire ↔ Utilitarian - I cannot see the difference between the various attacks, except maybe for their effect (on HP).
- After winning the battle, I get sent back to the beginning, and the policeman is still here; maybe you could not finish the programming?
- The PNJ sound for saluting and talking is cute, too.
- I am not sure how the inventory works… It is showing numbers, but how do they relate to the items I collected? (Two apples on the left panel, in this instance.)
- Small visual bug: once getting my fifth apple, it was displayed out of the left panel, since its size is fixed.
- Apparently, narrative statements require a Space press to disappear; I think you should say it somewhere (in the comments and/or game page).
- Haha, the ‘coconut throwing spell’! XD I like the humour. Once again, I get an EarthBound feeling, as this sounds like a spoof of A-RPGs set in contemporary times.
- I went two times East in a row, and I got sent in some kind of desert boarding the sea, which I could float over; I am not sure this was intended…
I am finding life to the South-West, but cannot go back up? And when trying from the South, I get sent back to the greeny middle zone.
I definitely suspect a problem in the zone-switching system. This makes it hard to get a sense of where to go and what to do. I think a minimap/map would have helped, or something that helps you get what your objective is — whether an explicit panel or some dialogue from a character. - Coming back to the first zone (the town), I see the apples I collected are back! I am not sure this was intended either. Not very serious, though.
- As far as I can see, the dice theme was incorporated through the character, but I do not know if there is something more that matches it. Once again, I have not seen enough.
The fact that the ‘desert’ zone’s village seems unreachable prevents me from progressing further… ._. Could you please tell me whether I am missing something? I would rather see more before really making my mind. It would seem unreasonable to cast a vote without knowing. Thank you in advance!
