Great little game! Very unique idea and executed very well! I’m hesitant to offer these critiques as they’re not, exactly, an issue with the game or it’s controls, but rather how it feels… and how it feels can be a subjective thing. That said…

I think the planets need a little more friction when on the surface of the platform and/or a little more push (or lift?) when I swing the platform from one side to another. Maybe the planets could use a little entry gravity(?) once ON the platform. LOL! Change all the things!

To the first point, when I move the planet from side to side the planets that have already landed on the platform feel as if they have absolutely no friction against the platform. As such, when I need to move to catch a falling planet at the opposite side of the screen, there’s very nearly a 100% change I will loose all of the planets at the opposite end of my platform.

This leads me to the issue of no enough push/lift. If I swing the platform one direction or another, planets hardly move at all. They may lift up as if from a lite tapping, but I can’t seem to throw them around. With the issue above, I was thinking I could whip the platform in a way that would throw the planets I have to the side of the screen I need to get to in order to catch the other falling planets, but, no… I can barely get them to move at all, and couple that with the planet’s tendency to barely be effected by my platform’s horizontal movement (except for a mild spinning), I feel overwhelmingly screwed over by RNG.

Lastly, even when the planets are on the platform (I have to match 3), I tilt my platform to try and get the planets to cluster (and trigger the match), but they roll sooooo slowly they rarely gather together.

Now… that block of text I just wrote? I really can’t tell if this is a problem with the game or just a complete me issue. Probably the latter. That said, if you were to take this game one step further, maybe there could be some sort of game difficulty sliders which could adjust the various aspects of how the planets interact with the platform?

Over all, great game! Loved it! Honestly I did!!

Thank you for playing, and for the detailed feedback! I agree that the game feel could use a lot of adjustment. Watching you play the game was especially helpful.

Tweaking the numbers to make you feel as though you have more control over the worlds is one idea. We also thought about having small walls on either side of the platform to prevent the worlds from rolling off. As well as making the detection radius larger for matching 3 worlds. Adjusting the weights and torque to make it easier to "throw" planets around is another idea.

There are a few things that we can experiment with if we decide to continue this project. It's mainly a matter of getting external testers, as the view on difficulty is very skewed when you play your own work (I was worried it was too easy on release!). Excellent feedback, thank you!
