I had a hard time figuring how to kill the enemies consistently tbh, from the gifs it seems like it might take a bit of mastery that i couldnt achieve with my playtime, which made the complete restart of the game on death a bit frustrating but it seems like a cool mechanic.

I actually added death in the last two hours, in version 1.0 you can't even die. After adding death and new models to later enemies, game got significantly harder.

I started with idea of mastery of system, but never got controls smooth enough to warrant that.
