.:° Enjoyment °:.

I was completely confused and was overwhelmed quickly. Especially confusing was the control scheme.

.:°Creativity°:.

Sadly I didn't discover the theme at all in this game but I get the idea. Cooking Brigade could've been the inspiration for this.

.:°Presentation°:.

I absolutely adore the art-style! Really. I like when non-assets are used and you bring in something personal. That's what I like to find in games.

.:°Score°:.

1/2/4

Ah! For the theme we used a play on words! Instead of using dice as a noun (eg. playing dice) we used it as a verb (eg. dicing up vegetables).  You take those diced up vegetables and put them in a burrito roll! I'm sorry the control scheme was confusing! We tried to make it easy by leaving controls/instructions in the description, but we didn't have time to make a full in-game tutorial within the 48 hours. I'm super glad you enjoyed the art though! Our artist was amazing, it was crazy to watch him go! I don't know how he makes it look so easy to make game art that looks so nice!

Yo, I guess everyone can make their own decisions but I feel like that's kinda unfair. If you don't understand the controlls or the theme at first, you shouldn't imedeatly give a low score. Not only are both the theme and controlls explained on the itch page, but you can also always ask the dev first for help (or just don't rate the game). That's just my opinion, but maybe don't jump to conclusions that quickly.

Have a nice day :)

I did unterstand the control scheme but I found it confusing. Else I would've figured it out and rated it based on that.

Rating is based on impression and not emotion. If you don't want people to grow you write something like "Absolutely great game! Please rate mine too". I want people to grow and learn which is the most important thing for me. I would have rather 10 people telling me that they hadn't fun at all with my game instead of 1 comment telling me how great of a dev I am with this masterpiece of work.

Do you know what I mean? If everyone gives me stars en masse what's the point on growing since I didn't do anything wrong but kept wondering why my game is not in the top 10 in steam then "Everyone says it's great". That means, people who don't take reviewing serious are more likely to destroy motivation than those that stay honest (not mad, bad or whatever the better word for this is) and give some insight.

This will be the only time me commenting on this topic.

Have the day you deserve.
