This is a pretty neat core game, and while playing this version itself is kinda rough, I can see where the idea is going! I really hope that you choose to continue with it, because this would be a really fun game with some more time put into it, and getting the gameplay feeling fine-tuned!

We do plan to continue the development, in fact we already have prepared a build that fixes the issues of the current one, while also applying changes to the physics that will (hopefully) make the core experience much more dynamic and enjoyable. We also have a lot of ideas for additional mechanics down the road, but one step at a time :P
